“Spirituality Lite” is what most people are doing. Sarah once suggested we were the cross fit of spiritual practices. She said we need to sell the challenge.
When we did that, we seemed to attract a lot of spiritual junkies who liked to get high but didn’t want to face the consequences of hyper-ventiliating for an hour.
I call this spirituality-lite.
I used to go to a certain city on the west coast where I was very popular for awhile. People would love Effiji and come to my classes. After awhile, I noticed they liked the event and the classes and social aspect, but no one wanted to change themselves or their life.
Doing Effiji and then staying the same is like driving your car with one foot on the gas and one on the brake.
If you want a better life, but you don’t want to see your own darkness or have it come forward, then Effiji breathwork is definitely not the right choice for you.
The truth is that breathing like this will accelerate your karma. It’s not linear as far as how and what it brings up in your life. So if you do the breathwork and expect to immediately have a better life, then you are looking for spirituality lite.
As it turns out, there aren’t shortcuts, there is just working smarter. In the world of Effiji, that means embracing the experience in the breath and everything that it reveals to you. The value of the facilitator is to help you see the connection between what happens in your life after you do the breath and the breathwork.
If you want real and lasting change come to our intensive in January. You will receive Sarah and my combined experience of leading groups and giving you powerful feedback so you can work smarter and manifest the life you are meant to live.
