Manifesting in Three Steps

Who made money during the goldrush?

The people selling the shovels.

Manifesting is sold to us just like a shovel. The sellers are manifesting us, but what are we manifesting?

Manifesting as a sales method is embedded in the American Dream. All over the world, people buy into it. As a Canadian, I was so attracted to the “Land of the Free” I moved here.

Most of us know we’re being sold. We also know that achieving a meaningful and successful life is much more nuanced than the two basic messages that have been making the rounds forever.

These messages are centered around BEING and DOING.

The “being” message is Dale Carnegie (How to Win Friends and Influence People), the movie The Secret, Anthony Robbins and  all the ads on FB saying you can look younger, feel better, make more money and have the life of your dreams by clicking on the link to shop, shop, shop. You can BE whatever you want to be!

The “doing” message is found in the essence of the story told on the TV show Shark Tank: work hard and you can achieve the American dream. You can DO it!

The problem with the simple being and doing message is that we are somewhat brainwashed into either doing nothing or doing everything.

(Sarah and I yakked our asses off about this yesterday in our podcast.)

Can you “be” anything you want if you’re an acorn? No… you’re going to be an oak tree whether you like it or not.

Here are my three general steps to manifesting for those who want a more realistic and practical path:

Step One: Create a clear channel between you and spirit. There’s no meaning or joy in manifesting unless it’s connected to who you really are and what you are meant to do and become. We use Effiji Breathwork for this purpose.

Step Two: Embody all aspects of your internal nature. This is what I call the four levels of mind. Fully embody your intention, energy, linear thought and your body.

Step Three: Gather all your internal energies into your center and take it out into the world and make it happen.

Going out into the world involves what I call the 4 regions of self. These are different centers of you. The first is what the Chinese call the dantian. The dantian is your literal center (up and down, left and right, front and back) found an inch and half below the navel.

Awaken, develop, and cultivate your dantian and you will gain vast amounts of energy and force. This is force that you will need to propel you out into the world where you can become what you are meant to become, achieve what you are meant to achieve, and find everything you need to be truly fulfilled.

Once you begin to take your center out into the world, you are going to have a lot of challenges holding on to that center.

This is the problem we all have. As soon as we begin to move, all of our unconscious habits, fears and programming get activated. We aggress unnecessarily, get confused, give up, get lost, or run out of gas. The world around us will also confront, resist and violate us along the way… and that will trigger us too.

But if you can learn to keep your dantian, this won’t happen.

This is why we train in the Sacred Taoist Movements. These movements can help us keep our dantian as we move out into the world.

The animal for region one, the dantian layer, is the bear.
